  Hello, I wasn’t totally ready to commit to the domain name I choose. Is there a way to edit it, or do I have to completely delete my account and re-register?

  What is the address of the site you wish to change? Be careful about deleting anything. Deleting a free address won’t free it up to be used again. If you want to change a free domain address you can do so.
