Domain Name Change

    Hello,

    I recently purchased a domain name; however, I would like to change it to something else. I would like to keep all of my content, as well. Is it possible to keep everything while switching the name of the site? If so, how can it be done and how much will it cost? I searched the forum, but I’m still a bit confused.

    Hi there!

    There’s no way to change a registered domain name. And it looks like you’ve already purchased a new domain name for your blog!

    Your domain will be mapped to the WordPress.com site that you purchase it for. The way we setup your site allows for you to change your domain without losing any content. All of your content is associated with the WordPress.com site whereissheexploring.wordpress.com and your Custom Domains are mapped to that site.
