Domain Name Change and upgrade

    Hi,

    I would like to change my existing domain theadventuresofgloria.wordpress.com to the-legend-of-gloria.com.

    Simply upgrading theadventuresofgloria.wordpress.com to theadventuresofgloria.com appears straight forward. But what about the fact I wish to change the name as well.

    I obviously want this to be transparent for my followers and not lose anyone who has registered for updated.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    WordPress.com is the the top level domain here.
    All wordpress.com blogs are free and free hosted on .wordpress.com sub-domains.

    The seamless redirection from every .wordpress.com link to the domain link is automatic when you purchase a domain mapping upgrade. In fact it’s the reason we purchase domain mapping.     In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from. If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog.
