  I am wondering if there’s a way I can change the name I chose for my domain name.

  Correct account: Yes

  Yes you can change that here, feel free to pick from any name that is not already taken in our system: https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/garymyoungcom.wordpress.com/change-site-address/garymyoungcom.wordpress.com

  As well, if you would like to remove “WordPress.com” from your site address and instead use a custom domain instead, you can do that here: https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/garymyoungcom.wordpress.com
