Domain Name clarification

    Hi we intend to subscribe to Premium domain hosting plan. Desired domain name is myname.com , however WordPress advised that myname.wordpress.com will be domain name on invoice. Can you please clarify if the public URL to access website will be http://www.myname.com or what appears on invoice.

    Also please advise if the hosting will be compatible with Avada website builder themes.

    Hi there,

    If you register a domain name, then your site will be accessible for that domain. Its .wordpress.com address will be hidden.

    Also please advise if the hosting will be compatible with Avada website builder themes.

    WordPress.com is compatible with Avada but to use that theme you’ll need to upgrade to the Business plan as that’s the only plan that allows the installation of third-party themes.
