Can I have a WordPress blog, with the domain nathanzuckerphotography.wordpress.com, and another site hosted somewhere else with the domain nathanzuckerphotography.com, or will I have to delete the WordPress domain?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You can definitely have the WordPress.com URL nathanzuckerphotography.wordpress.com while also having the domain nathanzuckerphotography.com elsewhere. Not a problem at all!

Awesome thanks for getting back so quickly! I just switched my WordPress site from .com to .wordpress.com…this takes a couple days to be recognized, right?

It will take a few days for search engines to be updated with your new domain. However, your domain is working correctly now. When I visit nathanzuckerphotography.com, I’m redirected to nathanzuckerphotography.wordpress.com. Just a note, you probably want to set nathanzuckerphotography.com as the primary domain here:
https://nathanzuckerphotography.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains
That will make sure visitors see nathanzuckerphotography.com instead!

Great, thanks. And my goal is actually to host my blog (nathanzuckerphotography.wordpress.com) with WordPress, and then purchase the domain (nathanzuckerphotography.com) through NameCheap. This is possible, right?
Thanks for all your help.

Hi!
Currently, you have already registered the domain nathanzuckerphotography.com through WordPress.com so if you try to register it at NameCheap, you will encounter an error that this domain is already taken. However, if you would like, you can transfer the registration to NameCheap following the instructions here:
Otherwise, if you would like to use your domain with NameCheap (create a self-hosted site), but leave it registered with WordPress.com, you can do that following the instructions here:
Would either of those options work?
