Domain name expired

So if my domain name renewed automatically for the last 4 years why didn’t it renew automatically again? My bank details haven’t changed.

Looks like that the credit card connected to your account has expired and that’s the reasons it hasn’t auto-renewed this year.

No I cannot log in as shanajamesartist, when I try to the system reroutes me as ubudartworkshops this is the crux of the problem because I cannot get a new password for the username shanajamesartist when I type it in it changes itself to the new username.

Can you tell me the last 3 numbers of the card the previous payments have come from? I have combed through 2 separate accounts and cannot find anything!
If I at least knew which bank account they had come from it might help.

Before attempting to log in make sure you’re signed out of all other WordPress.com account. You may even want to try a new browser or private browser window. Once you’re logged out of all other accounts you may log in at https://wordpress.com/log-in

Ok this is what I have done to date:
I have searched 3 bank accounts and my paypal and cannot find any transaction that could be to WordPressI have logged out from WordPress and reset my password for the user name shanajamesartist associated with the domain http://Www.ubudartworkshops.com I was emailed and appeared to change the password but when I tried to log in Using that username and password it said incorrect password even though I had changed it less than a minute before. I see this because it is no longer attached to the website?
Is there no other way for you to verify my identity to send me the payment code to pay for this lapsed domain?
My only other option at this point is to buy a new domain and wait for the other one to go back into the public realm and hopefully repurchase it. This will have a negative impact on my business so if there is any other way please tell me.

@ubudartworkshops220318 sorry this is frustrating for you.
If you can find the transaction ID from last year (remember this would have been in June) that would likely be easiest at this point. The charge will likely say wpchrg.com on it, so you can search for that rather than having to comb through transactions. If you find the ID let us know and we’ll reach out via email.

– Is that the first time you were able to reset the password for that username, or have you repeatedly successfully changed it only to be locked out again? I’m wondering if it would help to view the password as you change it, then copy it so you can enter it when you log in again.
– Can you confirm which address you’re checking when you reset the password?

I have already searched in June through 3 bank accounts for WPCHG.com and cannot find how it was paid!
That was the first time I had successfully changed my password , as beforehand it was defaulting to a different user name and I didn’t know I had to log out first. Once I had logged out it appeared to change but didn’t work. I will try that one more time now.

I have replied to that email with my transaction ID, that was the right thing to do, wasn’t it? It said not to post it here so I’m assuming reply email is the way you ish to receive it ? If that is not right let me know
