domain name expiring

    Dear wordpress support,
    I set up a wordpress site for my Dad almost 2 years ago to help him assert himself more at work. We registered a domain and he has a gmail account linked. I tried to log in the manage his wordpress site using the address I used to set it up, but wordpress did not even recognise this as an account.
    I would basically like to keep this domain name registered in its most basic form so that he can still use his email and we still own the domain name
    It would be nice to still access the wordpress account and see the prices for renewal with wordpress but seems I’ve been locked out!
