Domain name from WordPress.com to WordPress.org

I initially set up my website on wordpress.com but quickly realized I wanted wordpress.org. I had pointed my domain name to wordpress.com, and when I cancelled my purchase to have a custom domain name on .com, I also cancelled the domain mapping. So now I am wondering how I go about pointing my domain to wordpress.org.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Congratulations on already having a domain name!

The other part of the equation to get your self-hosted site up and running would be to secure a hosting package. In most cases you will need to purchase this.

There are some good links and info on this page that could point you to a good host:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

WordPress.org is the site where you can go to download a free copy of the latest version of WordPress (the CMS) to use on your self-hosted site once it is ready, .
    https://wordpress.org/download/

The good news is that It doesn’t look like you have too much content on your WordPress.com blog. But if you want to move that over to your new site, here is how you can do that:

    Hope this helps!
