  When I buy a domain off wordpress, where is it hosted?

  To have that domain name linked to your blog here, you have to have the domain mapping upgrade. Did you purchase that and configure it?

  Hi,
  I have my own domain name, hasbine.ca, that I use as my primary on WordPress. I want to leave wordpress and take my domain name with me. How can I do that?

  Did you buy the domain name here at wordpress.COM?

  If so, you would have to change the nameserver stuff as explained here: http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-name-servers .

  Also, the site linked to your username is not a wordpress.COM blog. If you are talking about a blog hosted here you need to provide us with a link to that blog.

  You cannot access wordpress.com via FTP, domain or no domain.

  Not at wordpress.COM you cannot. We are limited to the themes listed under appearance > themes.

  If you have CSS editing experience, you can get the paid custom CSS upgrade, which will allow you to stylize the themes here, but it does not allow you to change the functionality. Since there is no official support for the CSS upgrade, and few here in the forums with much CSS experience, you should figure that you are on your own. Before buying the upgrade, you can go to appearance > edit CSS and wordpress has provided a preview function where you can try out changes before you buy the upgrade.
