Domain Name help please

  Hi,
  We purchased our domain name thru you when we setup our site Jan 10, 2013. We usually pay $18 for our domain thru our WordPress dashboard. We have recently received an bill for $45 from iDNS for our domain name that says it is due for renewal Jan 10, 2018. Can you help me know why we got this bill from iDNS? In our dashboard under My Domains, it shows our primary domain as active and renews on Dec 11, 2017. We don’t want to loose our domain name. Please help me understand what is going on with this bill from iDNS. In our dashboard under manage purchase, it shows we will owe $18 on Dec 10, 2017. I feel that we should just ignore the iDNS bill but need to know for sure what is going on. Thank you for your help in this matter.

  I am sorry to have bothered you. I found in the iDNS notice that they were just explaining what the cost would be if we switched to them. So Sorry for the confusion.

  Just a note as well, this is a huge scam that some companies to do try to trick you into changing your domain registration. It’s called domain slamming, and you definitely want to pay close attention to these to avoid getting fooled.

  Glad you found that it was false before paying them!
