domain name I bought from WordPress still not active

I recently bougt a 1 year name registration from WordPress (www.kalimbastudio.com) and also bought an upgrade to create blog “kalimbastudio.wordpress.com”. I began building the blog and added kalimbastudio.com at the domain list but the address does not work and a so called “godaddy.com” page that appears instead tells me that I can buy kalimbastudio.com. Am I doing anything wrong? I tried modifying DNS records with no success and I can not find the right help link in yor support pages.

It appears that you purchased the domain mapping upgrade for kalimbastudio.com. Domain Mapping is the upgrade for when you have a domain registered elsewhere and wish to use it with WordPress.com. You did not register kalimbastudio.com with WordPress.com. It appears to be registered with GoDaddy.com.
If you are the person who registered it with GoDaddy.com, you can get it pointing to your WordPress.com site by following these instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
If you are not the person who registered kalimbastudio.com with GoDaddy, then the domain is not available to be used with WordPress.com because it has already been taken. I will be happy to refund your Domain Mapping upgrade purchase if this is the case.

I clearly understand the situation. Somehow I thought I was buying the domain name to be used with my blog.
If I am not too late, may I ask you to kindly replace kalimbastudio.com with kalimba.pro (which is definitely mine) instead of a refund.Thanks in advance.
