Domain name in Ireland

  I wish to use an irish domain name (that I have not yet purchased) and link with my wordpress account. So the domain would be joeryan.ie and wordpress would host this. What is the easiest way to do this?

  Hello there,

  You can achieve this by mapping your domain to your WordPress.com hosting. Keep in mind that to do this you will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site (Personal, Premium Business plan, or eCommerce.).

  Hi @joeryanwriter – Currently WordPress.com does not sell domains ending in .ie. I also checked on that domain, and, unless you very recently purchased it, it might already be owned by someone else.

  There are some domain providers that will sell .ie domains. Feel free to check out something like GoDaddy for .ie domains.
