1. What is the domain URL?
2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
4. When was the upgrade purchased?
5. When did the expiration take place?I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. Thank you very much for your help. I am not sure I can answer all those points. A website designer did the website and seems now not to know anything about it!! Hope a moderator can jump in and help out.

Hi there,
Is this for the domain, aviatrixblog.com?
That domain expired on 17 July and is currently in Redemption with our registrar. It should still be possible to get the domain back for you, but our registrar charges an $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can get the process started.

Hi there –
I’ve sent an email your way with a payment link for the redemption fee. Please let me know if you do not receive that email.

The email was sent to the address listed at wordpress.com/me/account/ Did you receive the email?

Thanks for the update. I’ve contacted our domain partner to request that the domain be restored. Once we hear back from them we will send a note your way via email.
