Domain Name in Thai

I am unable to register a Domain name in Thai language, NameCheap offers such domain service. Would I be better getting my domain/url at name cheap and connecting it to WordPress.com, is that permissble? The domain name I want is ขายบ้านและที่ดินในจังหวัดเลย which means land and house for sale in Thailand, and my proposed wesbite will be about a sale of a Thai property I own. Thank you.

You can absolutely purchase a domain through another provider, and connect that domain ti a WordPress.com website. In your case, I would definitely recommend purchasing your domain through name cheap and connecting it to WordPress.com as you have suggested. YES, it would be an IDN domain according to NameCheap, so from the link, it is almost a certainty I cannot do this successfully and have a wordpress.com site.
Bummer. Language specific urls are so much better delivered by the search engines when someone searches in their native language.
