  I do not want the word ‘recipes’ in the domain name. I can not launch the site until you remove that word.

  Hi,

  you can change your site’s address as explained here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/

  Bear in mind that once changed, you will not be able to use the previous address ever again.
