Domain Name issues

  Awhile back, I registered the domain ‘illuminatingthefog.wordpress.com’. I then deleted the site and all content (I was unsure about the domain name and the site didn’t have any content). Now, I’m trying to re-register the domain name, but it won’t let me, saying the domain already exists, yet if you go to that URL, it says the site is no longer available. Is there a way I can re-register that domain name?

  Once a domain name is deleted it is gone forever – domain names are not recycled. your only option is to choose a new name that is close or even better

  What is the domain name you wanted?

  I was hoping to reuse the domain I originally registered awhile back: ‘illuminatingthefog.wordpress.com’. That’s too bad that stuff does not get recycled.

  illuminatingthefog.wordpress.com is no longer available.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  Sometimes you can play around with a name and add a letter or something
