Domain Name Mapping

Previously when I purchased a domain name elsewhere, and mapped it to wordpress it cost 13.00 dollars for the year, now it seems there is no option for this and it only will let me purchase an upgrade for 99 dollars to premium, in order to map my domain, has this changed, or is it a glitch?

Domains are no longer available for purchase or mapping individually. They are included with the WordPress.com Personal, Premium, or Business plans:

A great way to go if you are not interested in WordPress.com Premium is to look into setting up a self-hosted WordPress.org site through a hosting provider such as Bluehost, GoDaddy, or Pressable.
