DOmain Name mapping

I bought a domain name through wordpress, I’m building my site and trying to map my paid domain name to the site i’m building. when I try and add it, wordpress says the domain is already mapped to a site, which should be mine, but it’s not allowing me to map it. Also, wordpress can’t find my receipt, although they emailed me one. Help!

Hi @btchiadmin! It sounds like you might have another account with us. Can you log out, then log in again using the email address that received purchase notifications and what not? That’s the one you’ll need to use to access the site.
If you’re not sure what that is, can you tell us the domain?

Hello, thanks for responding. The domain is “bt-chicago.org”. I’m not sure how the accounts got separated and I built a site already on the other account. I have the receipt, is it possible to transfer my payment information to the other existing account where I have the site built? It’d be a pain to have to rebuild the site. I’ve been trying to get customer service on the phone but that doesn’t seem to be possible.

The domain is “bt-chicago.org”.
The domain definitely belongs to a different WordPress.com account here, not the one you’re currently logged in to.
