Domain Name Mapping Affected due to Upcoming Service Maintenance of Local Host
-
Hi, I need help.
My local host, Servobox Managed Hosting Services under Webfocus, a company based in Pasig City, Philippines are upgrading their server starting October 16, 2015 at 7PM (Philippine Time) over the weekend for about 24 to 48 hours. In view of this, they sent us an email advising us this: “MX Record (e-mail) should be set to mail6 with an IP address of 207.198.99.156. To set this, you may request your current domain registrar via e-mail to do it for you or you could provide us your domain credentials (access link, username and password) so we could modify your records ourselves.”
I don’t know how to this myself. I purchased domain name mapping but I forgot how the mapping was done.
Kindly assist me.
Thank you,
Ritchie Teves

You can change the MX record for your domain from the My Domains dashboard screen at: https://mblifeinsurance.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains
You will see your domain name, mblife.com.ph listed on that page with the Edit Domain button.
Click on Edit Domain and then on Edit DNS link. You should see the existing MX record on that page which you can edit.
Please first read this support guide to get an overview of the process: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/custom-dns/
