Domain name – mapping issue
-
Hi there,
I’m trying to set up a woocommerce website for our store. When I get up to the part of connect a domain name (I already own) and mapping it to wordpress the below message appears – ‘There was an issue registering your site. Please contact WordPress.com support to assist.’ I even tried the option of taking a free domain but the same message appears. Appreciate your assistance on this matter.
Thank you

Hi there,
There was a similar issue described here here.
Perhaps your account owns a suspended site?More explained here https://en.support.wordpress.com/suspended-blogs/.
Best!

Hi, thanks for responding – that issue is for a website. I have yet to set up a website because of the above mentioned issue.
Thank you,

Hi there,
I understand that you’re working on the site hethervaai.wordpress.com, is that correct?
What is the domain you were trying to map?
Remember that, to map a domain, you will need one of our paid plans and, since you’re looking to use WooCommerce, you’ll need plan Business or eCommerce:https://wordpress.com/support/business-plan/

Hi there,
I’m trying to set up a new site, not hethervaai.wordpress.com, under a different name (eveniBlue) but I can’t set up a new website without an error popping up. After I select the payment option – eCommerce an error message appears.
Thank you,
