Domain name mapping not working
-
I purchased my domain (foreverphotogj.com) name last October and have been using it for my WIX based photography website. I’ve since deleted that website and want to re-route the domain name to my blog so that people who go to the url listed on my business card see the blog instead (foreverphotographygj.wordpress.com) I’ve followed the 3-step domain forwarding guide in the “support” section. My godaddy domain manager has its DNS fields updated to the wordpress addresses given (ns1.wordpress.com and so on) I went to store>domain and bought the domain mapping upgrade (I seem to have purchased this twice now, since I thought it hadn’t worked the first time) and then I updated foreverphotogj to be my primary domain. Now when I type that URL into my address box, it brings up a blank white page with “forever photography” as the tab title, foreverphotogj.com in the address box, and nothing else. I have to assume I’ve done it right if it’s no longer forwarding me to my old wix site but do you know why it doesn’t pull up my blog? I can’t seem to access my blog at all at the moment because my old url redirects to my new one which doesn’t seem to work.

Your domain name servers for foreverphotogj.com don’t appear to be pointing to WordPress.com. Can you please try updating your DNS information via your domain registrar to point to:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMIn the meantime, I’ve changed your primary domain back to your .wordpress.com URL so you can see your site.
