Domain name no longer attached to wordpress site

We have the site alittlebitofstone.wordpress.com that had a custom domain alittlebitofstone.com bought via wordpress.com
Today alittlebitofstone.com no longer resolves to our website.
Looking at the WhoIS for the domain says its still registered but the name servers seemed to have been changed.
HELP! :)

Hi there,
alittlebitofstone.com expired on 4 October because we did not receive any payment for its renewal. You should have received several reminder emails as the expiry date approached. Please make sure those didn’t go to your spam folder by mistake.
The domain has now been removed from our system and is about to go into redemption at our domain provider.
If we act fast we might still be able to get it back before it goes into redemption, but if not there will be an additional $80 fee to get it back.
I’ve sent you a link via email to pay for the domain’s renewal. Once you’ve made your payment, please comment here to confirm and we can then email our domain provider to try and recover the domain for you.

I haven’t got access to that email address at the moment but as soon as I do I will sort out the renewal, not sure why I didn’t get any of the renewal notifications.

And your domain is restored, and I’ve reactivated it on your account. I see you have it pointed to a site hosted somewhere else – that site should load at your domain again now.
