Domain name no longer mapped

Having the same problem with fredherschfilm.com.
It is dead since 9/14 without any warning or reason. Please help ASAP! -
@theacquiredtaste, I’m in the exact same position. And, I have upgraded support, and they have all checked out. From what I can tell, don’t expect to have access to your website back for 10 days minimum as support staff are out until the 26th. Who runs a company like this????

Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.
And also can not access my DNS to attempt to correct the issue.“As of 3 days ago, the domain mapping has been removed and I can no longer update the DNS records for our domain. More so, there is no listing for threebabesbakeshop.com under my domains. For some reason, the nameservers for threebabesbakeshop.com now point to wordpress.com nameservers (even though I did not initiate any changes).
So, the domain mapping has been removed, the entry for our domain in our wordpress.com dashboard is not there, and our DNS entries were updated mysteriously. Since I cannot access the domain in the dashboard, I am left unable to update anything. I do see the receipt in the billing history for the domain mapping I purchased.”

Hey there! Our website Rewatchability.com is having a similar error. I think we need to buy back our domain because it is in redemption. This is our business and our site is down so we’re very worried. There is no way to pay the $80 and buy back our domain by logging in. Can we start this process please?

same problem here with boscouganda.com – the domain mapping is gone. A whois shows an “updated date: 15-sep-2016” which was yesterday when this went down. We did not perform any updates on our domain and it does not expire until apr-2017.
In reading this thread, it sounds like there are many reports of similar issues. Hoping this is resolved soon.

I mentioned above that I’m having the same problem. My blog is simplelifeabundantlife.com and I have a huge blog event coming up in 5 days and if my blog is not up and running by then I could potentially lose a lot of money. :(

To everyone else having domain issues…
WordPress.com staff is attending our once a year all company meeting. However, there is a team of us keeping an eye out and will help you as quickly as we can.
To make that go faster, please make ONE thread of your own and add the “modlook” tag to that thread. The modlook tags gets our attention and having your own thread helps staff work more quickly. It is very confusing to try and work through a thread with a dozen users with a dozen different sites posting to it.

staff-ozmodiar: Apologies for any hassles. As stated before, this is new for me. Please regard my issue as resolved. I have renewed the domain with the registrar and the site is available again. All I need was for someone to explain to me how it works. I have marked this topic as resolved (for me). It seems the other people do not have the same issue as me.

Domain error issue: joephelancreative.wordpress.com should be mapped as joephelan.com. Will not allow re-mapping. I don’t use it as a blog, so cannot flag a new post with Modlook. Please fix this asap. Thanks
