Domain name not registered on my blog
-
I created a new blog and registered a new domain name through wordpress a couple of hours ago. I received the paypal receipt but I didn’t get any emails from wordpress saying that this worked nor can I see it when I look at the domains for my blog. Does it take some time for it to appear against my blog??
I actually want to cancel the domain name registration hence the query.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What does it say on the My UPgrades page of the blog? That’s where you can ask for a refund.
-
It appears in my billing history but does not appear in the My Upgrades section or in My Domains.
I have given it over night now and it still does not appear. This process should not take this long considering I have paid for it.
-
If I try and re-register the domain name it says it is available so obviously something has happened and it hasn’t worked. Can anyone help me??

I flagged this for staff attention. They can sort it out. Refunds can take several days to appear, unfortunately.
-
Just so staff know I haven’t been able to request a refund yet as the domain doesn’t appear to be registered against my blog yet.

Hi there,
It looks like you have submitted a payment dispute to PayPal. As soon as a dispute is submitted to PayPal, the issue is out of our hands and so there isn’t anything which we can do.
PayPal will investigate the entire issue and will provide a refund once they have completed their investigation.

According to Paypal this is what will happen:
“By opening a dispute in the Resolution Centre, you will be working directly with the seller to resolve this issue. We will email you when the seller posts a response.” So according to Paypal I am waiting on your response. Is someone going do that sometime soon?If you had provided me with the item that I had purchased at the time or at least provided me with support when you guys knew that this process was not working I would have never been in this position.

There was an error with our registrar partners when you attempted to register your domain, for which I apologize. We are always willing to work with you to make sure you either get your domain or get a refund if you choose to not pursue registering a domain with us after all.
In regards to your chargeback, I have checked with our store department and the process which PayPal follows will take up to 70 days to fully complete (this is not a delay on our part, but the length of time which PayPal takes to process these claims).
-
Paypal is waiting for us to resolve the dispute together. As soon as you refund me, I can close the dispute in Paypal.
It has not been escalated to a claim yet. This only happens after 20 days if you do not provide me with a refund in that time.

I’ve sent you an email to the address which we have on file. It should be waiting for you now if you want to check that mailbox.
