domain name not what I paid for
-
Hello,
I paid for a domain name failtowintraining.com and got failtowintrainingdotcom.wordpres.com. I tried a second time because I thought that it didn’t work and then I got failtowintrainingdotcom1.wordpress.com. This is not what I paid for and this is not what happened when I bought my last domain name from you guys (bodyellow.com). What happened?! Am I overlooking something, because I am not happy with this. If I bought these two domain names, I would really like a refund. :( Thank you for your time and consideration.
Thanks,
ChristinaThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no domain mapping upgrade for failtowintraining.com. If you would like to use this domain you will first need to set up domain mapping.
In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/ and the domain name you desire must be available for purchase.
After you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog from the blog’s dashboard at > Store > My Upgrades.
See here if you do not own a domain http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
See here for mapping an existing domain that you already own http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
See here for mapping a sub-domain (for a domain with an existing website) to your WordPress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

Why did I not have to do this last time. I don’t understand what mapping is. I bought the domain name. I had an existing account. Why does it add the “dotcom” instead of .com?
Thanks

failtowintraining.com – was registered here today, but at @TT explains above you also need to map the domain name to a blog here such as failtowintrainingdotcom.wordpres.com – you will also always work in the dashboard of failtowintrainingdotcom.wordpres.com (or what ever blog you map the domain name to)
