Domain name not working

My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I created two sites (accidentally). One is thegreatertruth.wordpress.com. I was trying to upgrade this (for $18 a year) to thegreatertruth.org (not using the wordpress name). I paid $99, and even clicked the name for $18 a year. Instead, it gave me thegreatertruthdotorg.wordpress.com !!!
All I want is ONE doman, called the thegreatertruth.org.
I created a blogname called Musings with the Greater Truth. I simply want this associated with thegreatertruth.org.

Sorry for the trouble! The $99 WordPress.com Premium plan was added to your site, so you can register your domain name thegreatertruth.org by heading to your Domains page now.
On that page, you can click the “Register a New Domain” button and follow the steps on screen to finish registering that domain. (We also have a guide to Register a New Domain with more details.)
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Thanks so much – all working now. My only other question is regarding the templates I can choose. Question: Do any/all of these support me inserting videos ? That is the only reason I upgraded to premium, so I can do video blogs. I’ve looked at a few templates, but cannot tell whether or not they allow me to upload videos to play.

The ability to upload video to WordPress.com is dependent entirely on our VideoPress upgrade, which is part of the WordPress.com Premium package which you have on thegreatertruth.org. So whichever theme you choose for that site will work just fine!
I also wanted to mention that you can always embed videos from YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, etc at any time (without the need of an upgrade). If you need additional information, just let me know!
