Domain name not working

  Hi! I have renewed the domain name for the blog, however it is still not working. I can’t find where to edit the DNS that it is pointing to. I took this over from someone else, so I am not actually sure where it is hosted either. I am assuming it is being hosted by wordpress. What do I do to get it back up and working properly?

  The domain “paragonpress.net” is registered by GoDaddy, and it’s pointing to their own hosting server.

  If you need it to point to your WordPress.com blog, you’ll need to change the settings in the GoDaddy panel.

  I don’t want the paragonpress.net to point to the blog. Just the blog.paragonpress.net. Isn’t that a sub domain? That is the way it worked before, but I didn’t set this up, so I am having to dig into it!

  That would also be a GoDaddy issue. They control everything that’s related to the paragonpress.net domain name, including where blog.paragonpress.net subdomain would point to.

  Even though it’s a SUBdomain, the procedure is pretty much the same and you’d have to change settings in the DNS Zone Editor.

  You could also set it as a redirect (on GoDaddy), but then the URL will change in the browser’s address bar from blog.paragonpress.net to your WordPress blog address.
