Domain name on Google

    Hi There!
    1) Hi I have a WP Domain Name, when doing a Google search (My Word Press Forum questions that I asked previously appear on the google search engine!) Is there a way to keep my DOMAIN NAME “NAME.COM” pop-up on the Google search engine while keeping my WordPress forum questions – hidden from GOOGLE?
    2) When I do a Google search for my domain “Name.com” it appears but nothing happens when I click on it-doesn’t take me to my blog page – Please help :)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The site linked to your name is only one hour old and private, not really long enough for Google to do anything and they don’t index Private sites anyway. This is also the only question you have ask here so I am confused about the other forum answers you are referring to.

Are you really hosted on WordPress.COM and are you in the right forum?

The URL beginning with http of the blog in question and the username would help you get accurate help.

    Hi.
I was referring to another blog name (under a different WordPress account) – since if I asked a question using the other Domain-name would only add to being seen on Google.
Yes I am using WordPress.com (not .org) and yes in the right forum.
Hope to hear back about my questions.
    ~Thanks.

“Okay Thanks!” and if anyone is able to answer the first question – I would appreciate it.

The answer is “no”. This is a public forum. Every thread here and every comment made in a thread is indexed by Google and that cannot be changed. These forum threads are valuable public educational resources packed with useful information for all using wordpress.com software, and all members here are expected to search support documentation and forum threads before they post post threads or ask questions they cannot find answers to. Why would you want to hide that fact you asked questions and received correct answers to them? That makes zero sense to me.

I understand what you’re saying and thank you for your time answering my question.
I personally would prefer separation from my blog appearing on GOOGLE with right underneath it~appears the latest ‘Help I don’t know what I’m doing?!” Forum contribution, especially since my blog is business-related ~ just my opinion :)

I’m sorry but that’s not possible and you’re welcome.

It is possible for your forum questions/answers to be LESS visible on Google than your blog: the solution is to change the link on your name to the blog you want visible, to avoid refraining from dropping links to it (link it as often as possible!) and to blog consistently on it. When you have significant content and significant incoming links, your blog will outrank these forums. Right now you are doing everything backwards.
