domain name ownership

    I am currently paying Network solutions to keep my Domain Name hugobastidas.com However, I currently have a WordPress blog which I will change over to a paid site but I want to use the above domain name (hugobastidas.com or HUGOBASTIDAS.COM). How can I do that without having to pay both you and Network Solutions? Don’t I own that name?

    Hi there,

    It is not possible to set a custom address for your WordPress.com site unless you first purchase one of the plans you see here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    Once you add a plan to your account, you will be able to transfer your hugobastidas.com away from NetSol and to us for free. Once the domain is transferred to us, you no longer need to pay NetSol to renew the domain, but you will need to pay here to renew the domain on a yearly basis.
