Domain name paid but not available for me

  I had set up my domain (and paid extra for the .com extension without “wordpress”) last week. It’s been over 5 days now and I still don’t have my domain name accessible to me. In fact, my dashboard is offering me my own domain name for another $18/year (which as I’ve said I already paid when I signed up). Who do I need to contact and how do I contact them? Thanks.

  I have a similar problem. For schekman.wordpress.com I bought the Premium service included the domain eddyschekman.com. Clicking on a picture you see the url wordpress.com and not eddyschekman.com. In China I need a VPN to see the pictures in the articles. I prefer hosting my site at WordPress.com. Who has or knows a solution. Thanks, Eddy.
