Hi. I have 2 WordPress accounts. I purchased the domain name fashionableacademic.com from one of my WordPress accounts but immediately cancelled and was approved for a refund. But now I am attempting to purchase the same domain name from my other WordPress account but being told it’s unavailable. What can I do? Please help!

Hey there, when you cancel a new domain it will go into holding for a few days. Please let us know which of these options works best for you:
Wait: You can wait about five days for the domain to be released. So long as no one else buys it before you do, you can purchase it again here or with another provider.
Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice for the domain (currently $18 for a .com domain). Once it’s restored, you will be able to use it with a monthly plan here, or you can point it to another host and transfer after 60 days.
Purchase a Plan: To host your site here after all, buy a annual plan, skip the domain option, then update us here.

Also, just noting while it might be tricky to move to the other WordPress account right away, it will be possible to get it on the right site. We’ll help you through as needed.

@supernovia Thanks so much! I think I will wait 5 days to repurchase the domain name through my other WordPress account as I want it to be associated with that specific email address.
