Domain name parked after refund
-
So I started a premium paid plan to host and then design my website. Quickly enough I noticed that actual usable functions like the Elementor plugin are only available in the business plan which is 4x more expensive. As I’m in a pre-startup phase for my business it is not worth it (yet). So I want to use WP.org instead with third-party hosting.
I cancelled my paid plan within the refund period but now my domain is parked with WP.
How long will the domain stay parked and/or how can I reinstate the domain so I can manually transfer it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

The refund window for a plan is different to the refund window for a domain. If the domain was cancelled within 96 hours of purchase it should become available within a few days. If more than 96 hours had passed then you shouldn’t have cancelled the domain. You should have just pointed the domain at a site at a different host. Note that Elementor isn’t so special these days and pretty much everything you need can be done with wordpress blocks.

Thank you for your reply! Yes the domain was cancelled within 96 hours of purchase. Now that it is parked I assume that it was indeed cancelled. I will wait for it to become available in the next few days and register it again with 3rd party hosting. Once the business is up and running I can always take the business plan here.
The reason for using Elementor is that I found online instructional videos using Elementor which are more up-to-date and thorough. WP seems to have removed/changed some features (start theme from scratch and the vertically scrolling patterns setup) which make online instructional videos hard to follow.

Update: I started a personal plan with hosting only and requested customer service to reinstate my domain name, which has solved the issue for now
