Domain name – possible to retrieve?

    Hello,

    I created a site called ‘flagrantjoy.wordpress.com’ a while back and I deleted it thinking I wasn’t going to use it.

    I have now changed my mind, however and was wondering whether it is possible to reinstate this website?

    I’m really confused about the policy: would I need to buy it in order to have it back?

    You will need Staff help to recover a domain.

    I’m sorry Joy, the site deletion is more like a closure in that the name becomes unavailable. You’d be welcome to choose another name, though.

    If you get tired of blogging and don’t think you’ll need it anymore, I recommend making the site private rather than permanently closing it, so you’ll have space to change your mind if you’d like.
