Domain name privacy
-
What information do I have to give to wordpress.com if I buy my domain via them?
Cannot decide if it’s worth paying 8 bucks to go with name.com for free whois privacy, + 10 bucks for mapping with wordpress. Or 15 bucks for both with wordpress.
Will my information be protected from the whois search with wordpress yes or no?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No. All is public, that is full name, address, e-mail and phone number. If privacy is a matter I would register my domain with a different registrar. -

will privacy ever be offered by wordpress.com? I would consider waiting if it were something they were going to do soon

There is no “domain masking” offered by wordpress.COM if you wish to have a Masked domain, then you need to purchase a domain name elsewhere. After that you can purchase domain mapping http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/redirecting-your-blog/
