domain name problem

    Hi,

    I recently changed my website URL to read: charronschatter.com instead of karenrobiscoe.com. Since I already verified the karenrobiscoe.com with Google webmaster tools, though, I now get an: untrusted site error message–from my virus protection software–and I assume other people are seeing this as well.

    I tried to change it through Google webmaster tools–adding the generated meta name code to verify it under charronschatter—but get an error message saying they have already found a different meta tag: OzDkVX2f3p4mKXtw3b5ymZ9T6G3t7ZpUj6u55b1qBKg
    and therefore can’t verify my site under charronschatter…

    I have tried to find this meta name myself by searching the HTML code in MS Word–but find nothing, as well as no word spelling: meta…

    If I could just remove this meta tag, I could verify my site with the meta tag generated from trying to verify charronschatter–which is this:
    <meta name=”google-site-verification” content=”2AKFdRmM6qU56VVDEZO0aF3q__vV3TQlVL2utFvKeGI” />

    I include all these numbers in hopes you can help me sort this out. I tried my best, but have run into my own wall of ignorance. Thank you for whatever help and information you cn provide, WP peeps. Karen R.

  • You’ll need to add this as new site to Google, then they’ll give you a new meta tag.

    Once you have done that, you’ll be able to mark the old site as moved to the new site in Webmaster Tools.
