domain name problem
-
Hi,
I recently changed my website URL to read: charronschatter.com instead of karenrobiscoe.com. Since I already verified the karenrobiscoe.com with Google webmaster tools, though, I now get an: untrusted site error message–from my virus protection software–and I assume other people are seeing this as well.
I tried to change it through Google webmaster tools–adding the generated meta name code to verify it under charronschatter—but get an error message saying they have already found a different meta tag: OzDkVX2f3p4mKXtw3b5ymZ9T6G3t7ZpUj6u55b1qBKg
and therefore can’t verify my site under charronschatter…I have tried to find this meta name myself by searching the HTML code in MS Word–but find nothing, as well as no word spelling: meta…
If I could just remove this meta tag, I could verify my site with the meta tag generated from trying to verify charronschatter–which is this:
<meta name=”google-site-verification” content=”2AKFdRmM6qU56VVDEZO0aF3q__vV3TQlVL2utFvKeGI” />I include all these numbers in hopes you can help me sort this out. I tried my best, but have run into my own wall of ignorance. Thank you for whatever help and information you cn provide, WP peeps. Karen R.

You’ll need to add this as new site to Google, then they’ll give you a new meta tag.
Once you have done that, you’ll be able to mark the old site as moved to the new site in Webmaster Tools.
