Domain name problems

    Hi,

I just sign up with WordPress like 1 week ago, they let me try the ‘Prenium package’ so they give me a domain name (thewhitecorner.com). After a few days, I decided to change to Blogger. So I cancelled my domain name on my wordpress account. But now, if I go for example on Godaddy they’re telling me that thewhitecorner.com is taken. But I cancelled this domain name on my account and I never pay for him.. Do you think I will ever be able to have this domain name for my Blogger account ?

this is the message they are telling me when I go on the white corner.com

Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

    Thank you all

    Hi!

When you cancel a domain from WordPress.com, it is sent back to the registrar. Depending on how quickly you cancel the domain after registration, it will go through process at the registrar before it becomes available again for purchase. This process can take anywhere from a week to a month or longer. Unfortunately, we have no control over the length of time once the domain is cancelled.

We have two main options moving forward:

    1. You can wait for the domain to become available again for registration. Again, I can’t say for sure how long this will take. You can check the status of the domain here:

    http://who.is/whois/thewhitecorner.com

    2. I can retrieve the domain back to your WordPress.com account. Then, we could point the domain to your Blogger site. This option would allow you to get back up and running within 2-3 days. However, your domain would be registered at WordPress.com. If you would like, you could transfer the domain registration elsewhere after 60 days.

Can you let me know how you would like to proceed?
