Domain name problems

  When i validate my domain name (purchased 5 days ago) it say the domain has either expired or not been registered. when I then clcik through to the domain management screen, it’s listed as my primary domain. what do I do? Is this a glitch? Thanks. I get a ‘not found’ error when trying to view the actual website.

  Hi Polly –

  Your domain looks to be all set up correctly. (Nice job!) Is it your email address that you’re trying to confirm so that you can begin posting?

  The confirmation email sometimes gets put into Spam or Social folder tabs, so you might want to to a Global email search in Gmail for “WordPress.com” or similar.

  No it wasn’t an email problem. It was a domain problem. Seems to have fixed itself – or someone your end?

  I have just set up a new blog

  My domain name is supposed to be “getting off our buts” but what I see is “gettingoffourbuts.com”.

  How can this be corrected?

  Are you talking about the name of your site, or the actual domain that appears in the address bar of your browser?
