Domain name purchased long ago, can I still access my content?

I have a wordpress account, but a little over a year ago I purchased a domain name under the urging of a friend. I thought I had purchased it using this account…I’ve had the same email address for years. But it doesn’t show up in my receipts. I can’t access the content I posted under that purchased domain site and I’d like to take it down. Please help!

The comments are set to Moderate, so check all your email accounts for the moderated comment, that probably goes to the email for the account

Thanks for your help. I’ve only had one other email address in the past five years and I had to stop using it because it got hacked. Is there any way to retrieve the content if it was made using that email?

I’ve found the problem! My site is using the old hacked email. But now I’m having problems switching the site over to my new email address. I can’t access the confirmation email because I don’t have access to that email address anymore. Any suggestions?

I’m sorry to hear you have lost access to your WordPress.com account. If you do not have access to your account email address, we will accept one of the following options:
1: The domain is registered under a different account (pineandlordstudio). If possible, try to login using that username at http://wordpress.com and reply back in this thread.
2: The API key associated with the account. Please see this link for more information on API keys:

3: A PayPal Transaction ID for any upgrades purchased for the account. Keep in mind that PayPal is our sole payment processor, which means that a transaction ID was generated even if you paid via credit card or another method.

When contacting PayPal, please have the following details of the transaction ready:
– Name on card
– Amount and date of transaction
– Card number
