Domain name purchase/TOS question

  Reading over the terms of service before purchasing my domain, in paragraph 4, it says …”To identify the sponsoring registrar, click here.” which takes me to to the Who Is search. I can’t figure out what to enter to discover who the sponsoring registrar is. “Automattic” doesn’t work, neither does “WordPress”, nor the name of my blog/website.
  Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

  Let’s cut to the chase please. What is the exact URL of the domain you wish to purchase and map to from your free hosted WordPress.com blog?

  You have not registered the domain name yet

  If you register it with WordPress.COM, you will then see “Wild West Domains” which is the Registrar that all WordPress.COM registered domain names go through.

  Not sure why the question, but then you are one of the few that is reading the TOS which is good.

  Do you have a specific question about the Registrar?
