  I received your notice about my need for a domain name renewal. My question is if i decide to not use wordpress can I still purchase and maintain the domain name through you.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Howdy! If you registered your domain with WordPress.com but you no longer want to blog with us, we do suggest that you take your domain with you to your new host.
