  can my domain name be different than my wordpress address? for example my wordpress address is andimissyou.wordpress.com can I make my domain “imissyou” ?

  You can remove the “wordpress.com” from a URL – you would need to register a domain name ($ 5.-/ year here – most domains) then Map the Domain name ( $ 13.- / year)

  However – imissyou.com & imissyou.me are already registered – you will need to find a different name ( i-miss-you.me – seems to be available)
