domain name refund

  • Unknown's avatar

Transaction ID [redacted by staff]. I see a refund posted for -$22.88. I have also deleted my domain name mapping so another $13.00 is owed to me. When will I see this posted? I have backed out of all of your services in under 24 hours. I will contact PayPal if the $13.00 refund isn’t posted. Thanks, Jim Weaver

    Hi @weaverjimmy,

I found this page searching the forums about your post. It may help. If not, the “modlook” tag suggestion and/or the contact support button parts should get you to a Happiness Engineer.

    I hope this helps.

Yes, it did. Problem solved. Thanks.

  • Hi there,

Please don’t post transaction IDs in the forum, as that can be used by anyone else to gain access to your account.

We offer a full refund on all plans for 30 days, and on domains for 48 hours after purchase. You can cancel at any time for a full refund on the Purchases page.

    Refunds

However, it appears that you have instead filed a dispute against us with PayPal, essentially accusing us of fraud. Your payment is now frozen and we’re not able to refund it until PayPal concludes their investigation into the matter which could take several weeks.

You can read a full explanation on chargebacks and how we deal with them here:

    Chargebacks & Disputes

If you cancel the dispute with PayPal I might be able to still refund you directly, but that depends on how far along in the process they are already.
