Domain Name Refund
-
Hello, yesterday I refunded my wordpress personal plan ( + domain credit ).
Mainly because I want to switch over to wordpress.org with other hosting and registrar .
I was wondering how long it usually takes before the domain name is available again ?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Did you request a refund of the domain within 48 hours of creating it? That is the only way to get a refund. That domain was created 4 days ago.
Having purchased a domain here it would have been easier to keep ownership of it here and map it to wherever you wanted to go to. Now perhaps you don’t even own the domain any more and run the risk of losing it completely if WordPress.com release it at some point (in a years time?) and it is snapped up by a “domain squatter” before you do. No, I did the refund after the initial 48 hours. I choose the refund with plan and domain and I thought it was possible since it was an option. If it does take a longer time (like a year) to get the domain back. I’d prefer to revert the domain refund only and keep it. Is there any way to do this?

Hi there,
Your domain has already been released and you can go ahead and register it through another registrar.
