Domain name registration

Our chapter has a free plan and we haven’t received any bills for a few years. Today we were charged $51.05. AI assistant suggested it was for domain name renewal . Because our plan is free we are not able to talk to human support. If it’s an annual charge, why were we not charged in the previous years.

I had a look, and the charge for $51.05 was for the domain middlesexnewlondonmusicteachers.com, which is linked to your site.
Even if your site is on the Free Plan, custom domains are billed separately every year. It looks like the domain was set to auto-renew, which is why you were charged now.

Thank you for reply. I used a link above from the first reply and submitted a ticket. I hope to receive the explanation. If I don’t hear from them I will write here again. . Also, how do I do a live chat if I have free plan?
