Domain name registration
-
How does private domain name registration affect internal links?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
It doesn’t – private registration keeps your personal info hidden when you register a domain name – internet rules require a registrar of record – a proxy company gets between you and the public – but there is still a way to contact you – but the contact needs to come through the proxy

I should have asked about “domain registration,” not “private domain registration.”
Just to be clear, “Internal links” refers to links between posts on the same blog.
So, this is my question: If I now have have Post A titled “See Post B” and Post A includes a link to Post B, will that link still work after I change my domain from “politicsandprosperity.wordpress.com” to “politicsandprosperity.com”?

Both links will work – the old link and the new link with custom domain name – sort of magic – there will be a few weeks after the change while the search engines get used to the new name – but the old links will always work – so no need to run around the internet changing links to your blog
