Domain name registration problem HELP!!

IT is not about the blog fillesrangees but about
chicksdeluxe.com

I received a notification to reniewdmy domaine name from Exalt’s design. Tought it was a scam and tought I had bought my name for couple of years so didn’t do a follow up. Today going into my blog I aw that it was out of service??? Coldn’t even go in my admin dashboard to contact you. SO I have 2 questions:

1- Can I have my domain name back? I think I bought it with wp nut not sure sorry… chicksdeluxe.com

2- If I can have it back, will I be able to get all my blog back? Articles, platform, pix, etc…

chicksdeluxe.com – is not registered with WordPress.COM, it looks like it is registered with someone that uses TUCOWS DOMAINS INC – if you can’t remember who you registered it with – contact http://tucowsdomains.com/ – they should be able to help you

If you are Isabelle – then you have a shot at getting the domain renewed

I do not see any Domain Mapping so I am not sure that you were hosted here – but the staff can look at more records than I can

Ok I will check this out. I tryed looking for it with the resarch engine of Tucows, but it is not there…

When I get it back will I be able to get back to the blog like it was?

Me again,

I did some researches and it looks like my domaine name is nowhere. How is this possible? Tucows, Whoos etc… but it is not possible to buy it (.com) there is certainly a way to now where I registered it (I know I have to find my bill)

Hi 4saisons,

Staff has several tools they can use to examine your domain name and let you know what the next step is. Unfortunately, we are forum volunteers and do not have that kind of power.

Most of the staff are in the US and you may need to wait to get a reply till the morning. Though, as the non-US staff comes on you might get a reply tonight.

No problem I understand…

I found my bill. It was registered from hostpapa. But the strange thing is that I bought it 2013-10-11 so expiration date 2014-10-11??? Strange cause I was still writing my blog not long ago and started receiving notices only couple of weeks ago??

I will wait in the morning and see what I can do with the staff and see if there is a possible that I can have access to my articles?

Try two things – contact the original registrar – hostpapa – also try Tucows and the link I gave you above – do both of while waiting for the staff

WordPress is not set up to accept incoming domain name registration transfers so you need to deal with your original registrar

I contacted Hostpapa yesterday but no answer yet. Actually, if I could at least just get my articles that would be great :)

If you still have a hosting account with them, it’s possible they have your articles.

As a back-up option, if the host cannot provide your articles, it looks like you can pull bits and parts of articles using the Internet WayBack Machine at https://archive.org/ . Type your domain name in and find the most recent time the IWM archived it.
