Domain name renewal

  It seems like my domain name has expired and I need to renew it asap
  It now points to the wrong website.

  If you are referring to deadwhenigothere.org, unfortunately that is probably a good indication that someone else purchased the domain name when it expired. How long ago did it expire?

  You can go into your domain settings to make the WordPress.com address primary so that it does’t continue to redirect to the wrong website. Then you can try to negotiate with the current domain owner to get the domain back.

  The whois record looks odd to me, so I have flagged this for staff attention. The status says “auto renewal” and the dates don’t seem correct to me. However the staff is quite backed up at this point.
