Domain Name Renewal

    Hi, I bought my domain name from GoDaddy last year on 14th Sep 2011 for 1 yr. I have NOT BOUGHT anything else on wordpress. I was getting renewal message from both Go daddy & WordPress. Assuming that they both are asking me to renew my domain name (since I have not bought anything else), I renewed & made payment on WP site. I have transaction confirmation etc receipts with me. Today again I got renewal reminder from GoDaddy, upon checking I found out that though on WP it is showing renewed, GoDaddy refuses anything being renewed as it can only be done through their log-in. Can you plz help in understanding, what did I renew on WP when I had not bought anything in the first place on WP. Is there something I can do to correct this situation. My domain name expires in 3 days, quick response would be appreciated.

    Godaddy would be renewal for your domain registration

    WordPress.COM would be renewal for your domain mapping.

    they are separate bills and both are required if you want to have your blog here with a custom domain name

    yes renew BOTH of them!!
