I’m considering subscribing to your $4/mo or $48/yr offer for my robertiveyauthor.wordpress.com site. Q1-how many months will this special price get me and what is the renewal price? Q2-can I get either robertivey.com or robertiveyauthor.com? Q3-how can I ask WordPress a question without going to the forum?

1. $48 will get you one year of the Personal plan with a custom domain included free for the first year. After the first year you’d pay to renew the plan as well as paying for the domain. (domains are usually $18 per tear though that can depend on the particular extension to the address).
2. Yes if those particular domains are available.
3. The Personal plan would give you direct email support with staff. Higher plans would get you Live Chat support included.

The plan renews at the same price at which you bought it every year, yes, unless there’s a pricing change, as @themagicrobot mentioned. In the event that there is a pricing change, it will be clearly communicated in the reminder email we send you about a month before the plan is due to renew.
To be clear, the $48 cost is not a special. That is the current full cost of our Personal Plan for one year. If you buy a plan at a discounted price during a promotion, it will renew at full price the next year.
